Louis Joyner (RA, RID) is a practicing architect in the city of Columbus, Indiana. He is also a qualified professional serving in the Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology for the State of Indiana. As a lecturer in the Interior Design program since 2014, Professor Joyner teaches primarily core studios and a course on professional practices in the Interior Design industry. He is the chair of Indiana Modern, a statewide group dedicated to preserving historic landmarks of modern architecture, and a member of the board for the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives. As a full-time practicing architect based in Columbus, his firm has done numerous private and public commissions, mostly in the city as well as the surrounding area of Bartholomew County.
