About

Prof. Paul is an Indiana University graduate who has served on our faculty since 1997, first as a clinical assistant professor and now as a Senior Lecturer. Before joining our department, she spent19 years in the retail industry working for Kobacker Stores and Paul Harris Stores, where she progressed through a series of leadership roles to become the Senior Vice President of Merchandising, overseeing a chain of over 300 stores. Her retail expertise is in the shoe business and the women's apparel industry where she oversaw buying, planning, product development and sourcing. R413 Merchandise Planning and Analysis Prof. Paul teaches a variety of retail courses, including Merchandise Planning and Analysis, Digital Product Development and Global Sourcing. She also leads educational field seminars to national and international locations including New York, China, England, France and Italy. Professor Paul co-sponsors the Retail Studies Organization. This organization has over 400 members and 20 officers and provides education and leadership for students interested in careers in retailing, manufacturing, design, and related industries. The organization offers these opportunities through industry speakers, community service, and team building activities, visits to retail organizations, networking, and professional seminars.
