I am interested in how we incorporate the stories of our lives into our bodies. Our bodies act as the gateway (or as the resting place, for the mind and the spirit) through which we as humans experience the world: they receive, perceive and in turn communicate to us and those around us the stories of our experiences.
I spent over 10 years developing skills in rendering the human body in 2 and 3 dimensions. I also created space for bodies as the founder of a Chicago- based interior design firm that specialized in atmospheres that were stimulating and comfortable for the inhabitants of those offices and homes. I am accutely aware of the impact of space on the body and of the inseperableness of the spirit, body and mind.
