Graphic design at the School of Art, Architecture and Design is a competitive, robust program that enables students to investigate design theory, process, and application. Our graduates are user experience designers, art directors, professors, and marketing directors reimagining the ways in which we communicate.
Choose from three dynamic degree paths
From Photoshop to The Typography Studio
With 90 cases of wood type, 120 cases of metal type, and more than 50 years of history, The Typography Studio letterprinting facility is a staple of the graphic design program.
Imagine + invent
In the studio, students learn the fundamental value of typography, imagery, grids, systems, and more in the course of creating everything from posters and logos to apps and other digital media.
Through the McKinney Visiting Artist Series, the graphic design program hosts nationally and internationally recognized artists to meet with students, present their work, and give workshops and individual critiques.
