Sarah is a designer, storyteller, and researcher specializing in digital narratives and contemporary fable. Joining the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design as an Assistant Professor in Graphic Design in 2018, Sarah’s work investigates the role of graphic storytelling in contemporary, mediated spaces. She has presented her research at Oxford, Columbia, the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin, and the World Design Summit. A recipient of multiple international, Graphis design awards, Sarah is also published by Bloomsbury Press in Ethics & Design Communication. Maintaining a consistent exhibition record, her most recent shows have been at the Zuckerman Museum of Art in Kennesaw, GA, the Snite Museum of Art in South Bend, IN, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Before coming to IU, Sarah worked with clients such as Whirlpool, Herman Miller, NASA, and the National Science Foundation, as well as taught design at the University of Notre Dame and Missouri University of Science & Technology. She continues to balance studio practice with both research and pedagogy.
