Jenny is a designer and educator with over 20 years of industry and academic experience. Before starting her own graphic design studio, she worked in the publishing industry and at design firms in Cincinnati and Chicago where her clients included Target, American Girl, Bath & Body Works, Simon and Schuster, and Totes-Isotoner. Her work has been featured in Print and Step-By-Step Graphics magazines, and included in shows by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Chicago Book Clinic, and the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati. Her primary research interest is design for social impact, for which she’s been awarded multiple grants.
Jenny is Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Indiana University ServeDesign Center, which works in partnership with campus and community to advance engaged scholarship and prepare students for lifelong civic and social responsibility. Her most recent collaborations have been with the Shalom Community Center, a resource center for people who are living in poverty and experiencing homelessness; Middleway House, a home providing safe living conditions, education, and information to victims of domestic violence; and Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that helps people in communities around the world build or improve a place they can call home.
