Digital Art

Examine technology, society + culture

Digital Art at the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design prepares students to work at the forefront of contemporary media practice where art, technology, and culture converge. Through immersive and extended reality practices, interactive and kinetic installations, and creative coding–driven experience design, students explore how emerging technologies shape artistic practice, cultural expression, and human interaction.

The program emphasizes interdisciplinary, studio-based learning that balances conceptual inquiry with technical rigor. Students develop skills in interactive installation, multimedia performance, and immersive media practices including virtual reality, spatial computing, 3D modeling, and real-time systems, while critically examining technological advances.
