An exhibition of artworks created by first-year M.F.A. students from the Eskenazi School in response to objects or materials in IU’s institutional collections. In its second iteration, the exhibition showcases work produced in the first-year M.F.A. seminar.

Beyond Barriers: Creative Practices and Functional Difference

The Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, in observance of Disability Awareness Month, presents Beyond Barriers: Creative Practices and Functional Difference, an exhibition highlighting innovative and expansive creative practices by artists who engage with physical, sensory, cognitive, or other functional differences.

Across the Fold and Shared Surfaces | An international printmaking exchange

Friday, March 06, 2026, 6 p.m.—Friday, March 27, 2026, 8 p.m.

Two exhibitions showcase lithographs and artists books by MFA and BFA students in and alumni of the Eskenazi School's printmaking area, together with work by students at University of the Arts London, the University of Brighton, and the University of West of England (Bristol). The show has viewing hours in March and a closing reception March 27 from 6–8 pm.

Marharyta Zhurunova and Bohdan Lokatyr, visiting the Eskenazi School as a McKinney International Artists-in-Residence, will discuss the development of land art in Ukraine.

The Changing Rooms

Saturday, April 04, 2026, 4 p.m.—Saturday, April 04, 2026, 6 p.m.

The soft opening of an immersive art installation created by Comprehensive Design students in Max Fertik's 8-week studio, "Healing Commons." "The Changing Rooms" is a series of "healing portals" that have been transformed from dressing rooms in an abandoned Victoria's Secret store in the Bloomington College Mall (now occupied by Pillar Arts Alliance).

The Grunwald Gallery showcases contemporary works by both professional and student artists across genres and approaches, from traditional to experimental. The Grunwald frequently collaborates with artists, scientists, and scholars to produce exhibitions that interpret visual art in the broader context of science or the humanities.
